The Motorola MC3100 is based on the highly successful MC3000 and with an ergonomic design, it provides mobility and cost effective solutions for keyboard based applications within an office domain. Its computing powers are highly advanced and it is very efficient in data capture and comes with motion sensing qualities. It can be operated by all those familiar with the MC3000. With its architectural platform it can easily port current applications while offering upgraded features when compared to other similar Motorola mobile computers.
Some of its distinctive features include:
- Motorola MAX Rugged that enables it to continue functioning despite drops, bumps and dust and moisture exposures. It complies with IEC and MIL-STD specifications for sealing against contaminants, drops and tumbles
- Its Mobility Platform Architecture (MPA) 2.0 is the latest and rated as the most superior in its class, which allows porting of all existing applications from other Motorola Mobile computers and devices
- The Motorola MAX Secure brings FIPS 140-2 certification. It also supports authentication and advanced encryption algorithms and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). Thus it meets the toughest security regulations stipulated by the industry and the government for its applications.
