The Motorola DS3578 series of digital scanners are tough and rugged and meant for the most demanding external environments where ordinary scanners may prove to be non functional. As omnidirectional scanners they save time that would have to be spent on alignment of barcode and beams. The feature rich series comes with Bluetooth connectivity that brings cordless independence and helps to improve productivity. The series comes with the revolutionary digital imaging technology that is the most effective in accurate scanning of data, 1D and 2D barcode capture, precise image capture and scanning of DPM-Direct Part Marks. The series also supports Item Unique Identification.

The Series is comprised of a number of models, each with distinctive features meant to suit specific applications. The models include a standard version, a version meant for DPM, Item Unique Identification support and image transfer, and a high density version.
